In this clever bathroom renovation, the goal was to improve household functionality by creating a separate toilet space within the existing main bathroom. The project began with the removal of an outdated bidet, which was replaced with a new toilet and compact hand basin. To create privacy and separation, a new internal wall was constructed around the toilet area, effectively turning it into its own room.

A new doorway was then cut into the adjacent wall to provide external access to the newly created toilet, making it more accessible without entering the main bathroom. The walls were sheeted with Easycraft VJ panels to match the home’s existing heritage-style finishes, while the ceiling was completed with plasterboard and decorative cornice. For durability and ease of cleaning, a ceramic tile skirting was installed around the base of the walls. The entire job was completed in just 1–2 weeks, resulting in a practical and visually cohesive solution that added value and convenience to the home.
