Window and Louvres Replacement – Modernising a Classic Queenslander
This carpentry project focused on refreshing and modernising an enclosed verandah by replacing the old timber-framed windows and frosted lower panels with brand-new aluminium sliding windows and louvres. The result is a brighter, more open space that blends classic charm with modern performance.
The original windows had deteriorated over time and restricted airflow and natural light. Our team carefully removed the old frames and panels, installing high-quality aluminium windows that offer improved insulation, functionality, and a cleaner, more streamlined look. Below the windows, we fitted powder-coated aluminium louvre panels, which not only enhance ventilation but are also weather-resistant and easy to maintain—ideal for the coastal climate.
This upgrade improves street appeal, boosts energy efficiency, and increases year-round usability of the space. Whether used as a sunroom, sitting area, or entertaining zone, this refreshed space now feels lighter, fresher, and far more inviting.
